So I’m not the only one who has been captured by ‘Career Opportunities’?  The role of Jim Dodge was perfect for Frank Whaley.  His delivery during this film was fantastic.  Of course Jennifer Connelly was an exciting sight as well.  But, at this time she was just that girl from ‘Labyrinth’.  After this movie, John Hughes kind of lost me, and we kind of lost John Hughes as well.  I was not quite the demographic for Home Alone or Dutch, so this was probably the last comedy of his that I really enjoyed.  Glad that MTV was able to give it a little “front and center.”
